Our shared meeting space is a gift to our community members, available at absolutely no cost β yes, you read that right, it's always free! Our space offers you a cozy modernity, the perfect backdrop for a plethora of activities, whether it's bookclubs immersing in tales, Girl Scout events full of camaraderie, or dynamic business meetings shaping the future. Join us in this vibrant space and let your collaboration soar!

We are located in the heart of downtown Ferndale, right at the corner of Woodward and 9 Mile (22757 Woodward, Ferndale, 48220).
This space is available for not-for-profit uses.
General Space & Community Rules
JSAβs Community Corner is happy to host you and your team/guests. We just have a few rules we would like to cover before booking:
1. You are responsible for your guests at all times.
2. You must be present with your guests onsite at all times. Minors must be accompanied by adult supervision at all times.
3. Space is for professional work activities. Social events and non-team gatherings of more than 15 people are considered events and must be approved by Jim Shaffer and Associates. Failure to get event approval will result in termination of membership.
4. Food left in the fridge will be thrown away within 24 hours post your scheduled meeting.
5. Please do not write on or damage walls or furniture.
6. No candles or space heaters are allowed at any time.
7. No pets at any time.
8. No firearms or weapons at any time inside Jim Shaffer and Associates, with the exception of law enforcement carrying out their official duties.
9. No Smoking and vaping at any time. This policy applies to all members and their guests.
10. Members and guests are not allowed to bring, consume, or possess alcohol on the premises.
11. Be mindful of your bookings. Cancel when changes occur, and book additional hours when additional time, if needed.

Does JSA offer amenities for booking the space?
No. The only appliances in our space is a fridge for your food + beverage. We also offer a Keurig Coffee Machine (which includes, sugar, creamer, cups). We ask that you bring your own items to support your meeting for you and your guests.

Member Expectations:
All "As-Is" meetings require the space and all furniture in the space to remain "As-Is." Guests shall leave the Space in the same or similar condition as when Renter entered. There will be a vacuum available for clean up as well as cleaning products to wipe down the counter space. Please remove the garbage from the premise prior to leaving.

Jimβs Community Corner/Jim Shaffer and Associates will NOT be liable for any damage or injury to the Booking Coordinator or any other guest/person or to any property, including goods, wares and merchandise, occurring on the Premises or any part thereof and Booking Coordinator agrees to indemnify and hold Jimβs Community Corner/Jim Shaffer and Associates harmless from any and all claims for damages, court costs, attorneyβs fees, and any other expenses arising therefrom, no matter how caused.
